WITNESSING TO TWO YOUNG ADULTS

The first part of this video simply recounts my meeting these two folks and developing a communications exchange. I then get into the issues, questions, doctrines we discussed.
As I witness to folks I take note of every angle (race, geographical locations, religions, languages, names, occupations, family backgrounds). I do this so that I might understand their view, experience, knowledge, which allows me to help them understand the gospel message better.

I am not color blind. I saw that they were black and I discovered that they lived in Conway, S.C. This gave me a connection with them through my dear brother, Greg Gregory Moody. I mentioned him and his ministry to them in hopes that they would remember him when they returned to Conway. Pastor Greg would then be able to minister to them.

Not every witnessing opportunity is as extensive as this one was. Sometimes you have to be ready to "hit and run" and sometimes you need to commit yourself to a more in depth discussion.

By knowing and understanding their background and culture it gives me the opportunity to address issues that they need to hear, such as Jesus being the only way, the errors of Islam (or cults). I look for the opportunity to share as much as I can concerning salvation, but I also try to give them information that God will use after we part. I realize I am just one part of God's seeking and saving the lost. If I don't lead them to Jesus, I want to set them up for the next Christian to reach them.
