07/26/19 IT AIN'T IN THE BIBLE

Remember, there is not a Bible verse that says or implies that any translator has Prophetic or Apostolic ability or authority.
Believe God's Word.

Since God expects us to try (prove, test) the spirits, in order to insure that we are hearing and following His Spirit (1Jn. 4:1), therefore it is reasonable for us to prove translations, versions, to insure that we are reading God's Word.
1 John 4:1-6
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

God does not call us to blind faith, but to intense followship, discipleship. This kind of faithful following requires searching the Scriptures (the writings of Divinely inspired Prophets and Aposteles). This requires study, work, commitment.
2 Timothy 2:15
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Remember, the word of God was given once (and only once), to the apostles and prophets of the Old and New Testaments.
Jude 1:3
3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
