The Dragon is the devil
The initial "throw-down" of the devil was when he (as the prince of angels, Lucifer) rebelled against God, and God threw him down to the earth, causing the pre-Adamic earth to become a chaotic, formless, empty, lifeless, dark world. Satan would go on to be, the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air, the accuser of the brethren, the adversary, liar, murderer, deceiver.
Satan has been defeated many times, throughout history, by human beings, through faith in the living God of the Holy Bible.
Satan was ultimately defeated through the sacrificial death and physical resurrection of Jesus.
Christians defeat Satan through faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.
After Satan has been given time to unleash his fury on the world, during the seven years of Tribulation, he will be bound in hell for 1000 years, as Christ rules on earth from Jerusalem.
After the 1000 year reign of Christ. Satan will be released from his prison., and he will mislead millions in a failed final rebellion against God.
At that time, Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire, forever.
Here are a few verses which refer to Satan as a Dragon.

God delivers us from sins, sin, temptation, the devil AND THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD.
Christians do not have to fear THE WORLD, THE FLESH or THE DEVIL, since God delivers us from all three.
As I have shown in the previous two posts, we are delivered from the power and pollution of THE FLESH (the sinful nature and sinful actions), and we are delivered from THE DEVIL. Just read the word and believe it.

Even prophets control their own spirits.
We can choose to Suppress, Express or Hyper-Impress.
EXPLANATION
Prophesying, speaking the word of God, which is forth-telling rather than foretelling, is one of the leading Gifts of the Spirit and ministries in the church. Prophesying (preaching, teaching, admonishing) does not take a person's self control away. Even when speaking for God, God's spokesmen are still in control of their own spirits.
With this as a foundation, we then see that anyone who is moved by the Spirit of God is not overpowered by God, losing self control. Therefore, during worship services we are expected to maintain control, even as the Holy Spirit is moving upon us. If we just release ourselves to an unseen power, we could be yielding to an unfriendly spirit, rather than the Holy Spirit. God expects us to yield completely to the Holy Spirit, but He does not want us to lose self control, which is actually the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, even in moments of great joy, ecstasy, love, amazement, brokenness, we do not give way to uncontrolled physical demonstration.
On the other hand, it is also possible to quench the blessing of the Holy Spirit by refusing to give Him outward praise and honor and glory and thanksgiving.
This is why I chose these three titles.
1. It is possible for us to SUPPRESS the blessing, anointing, presence of the Holy Spirit by choosing not to reveal the joy, love, excitement, amazement through testimony, hand waving, crying, shouting, clapping, jumping, etc.
2. It is possible for us to EXPRESS the blessing, anointing, presence of the Holy Spirit by allowing the joy, love, excitement, amazement we are experiencing, through testimony, hand waving, crying, shouting, clapping, jumping, etc.
3. It is possible for us to HYPER-EXPRESS our worship by allowing emotion to take control of us or forcing a fleshly action of hand waving, crying, shouting, jumping, clapping, with the intent of impersonating a personal outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
As I have pointed out before, it does not matter how loudly we shout or how high we jump, so long as we walk straight when we land.
Worship is not primarily a physical exercise routine, but neither is it intended to be a lifeless gathering of unmoved and unmovable participants.
There have been, and still are abuses of lively worship services. But worship is a natural reality in the supernatural realm of worship the Super Natural God. If we display physical manifestations out of mere habit or expectation, then that is of the flesh. If we refuse outward and excited expression to be seen, then that too is of the flesh.
We don't have to plan on how we will worship. Worship God in the beauty of holiness and be willing to "SAY SO" as the Holy Spirit nudges you. It will seem strange to begin with (to raise your hand or your voice), but remember, it is also strange for the non-churched person to sit in a sanctuary, read a Scripture, sing a song, pray a prayer. But as people worship more, and as they do that which is Biblical and "normal" for worship, the more comfortable a person will become.
One of my reasons for this post is because most Western/Modern Christians have been conditioned to NOT SHOW ANY EXCITEMENT IN CHURCH.

3. Their finances.
2 Corinthians 8:2-5
2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3 For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;
4 Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
Parishioners do not want a canned, impersonal sermon from a person who does not care for them as the flock of God. They want a loving, dedicated, caring, insightful pastor, bringing a message that God designed for them and gave to the pastor.
Likewise, singing a song is not enough. Teaching a lesson is not enough. Cleaning the building is not enough. Doing the printing ministry is not enough. Visitation is not enough. Group meetings are not enough. It must be a ONE BODY ACTIVITY, by the various parts of the Body, working in total agreement and in concert with the leadership.
That is just the way it is.

ALL ABOARD
The USA may be the last BOUND FOR GLORY MAINLINE. Mid-Eastern, African, European stations flourished then they either failed or were shut down, now many of them are simply whistle stops.
Anyone who wants to get out of SIN CITY and believes that Jesus can and will save them, can GET ABOARD the Heaven Bound Express, it will get you all the way to heaven, but you can't take your sin with you. You have to leave it at the station.
Everyone has a ticket waiting for them, but you have no need for the carnal baggage of sin and God won't carry the filth of the world. God wants to delivers us from the world and the ways of the world. You can't take your drugging and boozing, your cheating and lying, your fornicating and perversion, your anger and wrath, your deceit and pride. God will save you from your sin, but He will not save you in or with your sin.
But beware, there is another train that wants to carry you into deeper despair and eternal darkness. Don't be drawn to that Long Black Train.

First let me say something about my worship times with FGWC.
I enjoy services at FGWC, because of God's presence in the preacher and the people. I don't lose control, but I do get caught up.
There are not that many places I go, or churches I fellowship with that stir me in my worship. I am not talking about emotionalism, but emotion is part of worship for me. I like good preaching and I like to worship with people, in whom I have confidence that their walk matches their talk.
I am one of those folks who thinks, "I don't care how loud you shout, or how high you jump, just so long as you are walking straight when you hit the ground.
The Bible says that the spirit of a prophet is subject to the prophet. The Bible tells us that it is normal to worship God with quietness, praise, shouts, clapping, crying, song. Therefore, I try to live by the three points I made in an earlier post.
DON'T TIP THE CUP.
DON'T QUENCH THE SPIRIT.
DON'T MISS THE MOMENT.
I would never intentionally do anything to offend other believers in worship. I certainly would not take advantage of a good brother in the ministry or and his congregation. I don't want to be a stumbling block. I realize that some people and some churches do the jumping and shouting because they think it is expected or because it is what they WANT to do. I try to maintain composure, until I can hardly stand it. Of course, hearing old time salvation preached, triggers me.
Most of the time I listen in rapt silence or quiet agreement. Sometimes I just sit there and cry silently, brushing tears from my face. Oh yes, worship in a worshipful setting is like sitting together in heavenly places. I like being lifted up and feasting at the heavenly table.
Remember, this is not about going to a pep rally or a wild fire meeting. It has nothing to do with a cultural form of worship. I just enjoy lifting Him up freely in a love fest.

But we must be careful to keep the cup level. In other words, our overflow expression should not be subsidized with mere human excitement or fleshly expression. If your cup overflows is should be with an over abundance of God's presence and nothing added.
2. DON'T QUENCH THE SPIRIT. Sometimes God fills a believer to the point of overflowing, with one of the physical manifestations mentioned above or with a song or with a testimony or with a an outreach of love to a fellow worshiper. However, some believers choose to not be outwardly demonstrative, and they suppress that moving of God. When that happens they quench the Holy Spirit, Who is giving them an opportunity to draw closer to God and giving them an opportunity to be an encouragement to other believers.
3. DON'T MISS THE MOMENT. The outpouring is at God's choosing and timing. If we suppress it or quench it, then we are not promised that we will ever sense His presence in that way again. It may be the last time that God chooses to flow through you and into others around you. LIKEWISE, the same thought could be applied to a local church. I would state it this way,
"What would the world see God do, with and for and through and in and by a church that is fully consecrated to Him?"
It is hard enough to find a fully dedicated individual, therefore it is much less likely to find a fully dedicated local body of believers.
But how extraordinarily blesses is a community that has such a person, and how awesomely blessed would a community be if he had such a church in its midst?

I posted this in memory of Liberalism (religious, political, social) because, IT IS NOT OK TO DENY OR RIDICULE FACTS, REALITY AND TRUTH and THERE IS NO HIGHER PURPOSE THAN TRUTH.
Liberalism considers everything to be less important than the Liberal agenda (religious, political, social) and therefore they allow nothing to interfere with the Liberal mandate, even God.
Liberalism is not yet finished, but its end is coming. I will either die, and go to be with the Lord, or I will go in the rapture, leaving this entire world awash in Liberal lies. However, it is certain that Liberalism is under judgment. When Jesus is finished with this world (as we know it, as it will be during the Tribulation, and as it will be at the end of the Millennium), Jesus will preside over the Great White Throne Judgment and will pronounce judgment on all lies and liars and polluters and corrupters, assigning them to the Lake of Fire forever.
There will be a New Heaven, a New Earth and a New Jerusalem, which will filled with TRUTH and delivered from all deception.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

So, I hear people say that the reason they fail to live in holiness, purity, righteousness is because they are "only human," or because, "I use to be a truck driver," or "... in the military," or "I had a rough childhood." Wow, too bad God isn't up to your challenge. Maybe one day God will measure up to the challenge of sinful humanity or truck drivers or military or rough upbringing. Until then, keep glorifying sin and Satan. In the mean time, don't call yourself a Christian, just say you are a Wannabe Christian.
