02/19/19 ALL PARTS OF THE SAME WHOLE

Gotta be saved to surrender all.
Gotta surrender all to be filled.
Gotta be filled to overflow.
Gotta overflow to exalt Christ.

Even new believers, new converts exalt Christ, because new believers are alive in Christ and they have the Holy Spirit. But the level and the extent of exalting Christ, of doing the work of Christ, is not the same for new believers and seasoned, matured and purified believers, just as there is a difference in productivity between a newborn babe and a grown, competent adult.

Getting saved, getting born again is the beginning of life in Christ and it naturally leads to growth, training, leading and fullness of the Holy Spirit. It is the purified believer who is qualified to go into all the world and make disciples.

This is the point of Jesus telling the Disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they were endued with power, which came when their hearts were purified by the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
