02/22/19 THAT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE
Stupid Statement:
I love being a Christian.
Too bad it doesn't give deliverance from temptation and sin.
DELIVERANCE...
Being delivered from sins, sin and temptation (and Satan) does not mean that those enemies of our soul cease to exist. It means we are delivered from the bondage and pollution, through faith in Christ.
SINS COMMITTED
Matthew 1:21
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
SIN CONDITION
John 1:29
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
TEMPTATION
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
