Each generation should become more astute in the ways and will of God rather than resting in their grandparents victories.
Each generation should build upon the spiritual truths of their heritage, rather than rest on yesterday's laurels.
No generation gets new revelation.
No generation has attained to all enlightenment.
God's word fits every generation.
Each generation should embrace the eternal truths of God, even when they conflict with the understanding of yesterday's saints.
No one knows all there is to know about the Bible.
Keep studying God's word and following His Spirit.
Growth is lifelong.
