07/29/19 AT WAR WITH DARKNESS

 There is a war for the hearts, minds, lives and families of our society. It is a spiritual war and only spiritual warfare will win.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 KJV
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

(I chose to include vs. 6 from the NLT, because it actually makes the meaning of verse 6 much clearer than KJV. It is not a contradiction of KJV, but it is easier to understand.)

2 Corinthians 10:6 New Living Translation (NLT)
6 And after you have become fully obedient, we will punish everyone who remains disobedient.

Spiritual warriors are trying to reach and rescue those who have had their minds captured by the enemy of God. Our objective is to set every captive free with Spirit led and empowered teaching, preaching, shepherding.

This deliverance is not a pleasant chit chat over tea or coffee. It is a hard, confrontational, authoritative overthrow of rebelliousness. People are so accustomed to having their own way that they not only refuse spiritual counsel, they oppose it and bring division.

Don't be caught in the web of deception and destruction. Surrender to the wisdom of God in order to be set free from the "wisdom" of this world.
