10/16/19 GLADNESS IS PART OF BEING SAVED

Psalm 100, "Psalm of Praise." Consider vs. 2: "SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS." Wow. Check out these verses.

Psalm 100:1-5
1 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

*2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.*

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalms 4:4-8
4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6 There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7* Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.*

8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Psalms 97:10-12
10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
