10/27/19 NOT A FORMALITY
Taking the oath to protect against all enemies, domestic and foreign was intended to be real commitment, not simply rhetoric.
This is not an attack on police or military. It is a call to reality and actually a call to Biblical Christianity because our warfare is not fleshly (carnal) and our weapons are not fleshly (carnal) and our enemy is not flesh and blood (human).
Our enemy is the god of this world, the Prince of the power of the air; he wants carnal warfare and human blood letting and he does not care whose blood it is.
The only way to defeat Satan and his evil agenda is to put on the whole armor of God; to attack the gates of hell with the word of God; to give our lives in service to God and our fellow man.
Children will not be rescued by winning political, military, armed conflicts. They will only be rescued by men and women who stand strong and long for Jesus Christ, His word and holiness of heart and life.
