07/01/19 BOAST ONLY ON THE LORD

My hope is not in this world, nor am I sorry or ashamed for being human, male, "white," American, Southern, and a Promisleander.

I mention these things because God did not make a mistake in my heritage. Being human also includes a sin nature and sinful behavior. FOR SIN I AM SORRY AND ASHAMED. But GOD AND HIS GRACE IS GREATER THAN MY SIN.

We live in a world that denies sinful nature and sinful behavior, but condemns us for being human, being "white," being male, being American, being Southern. Even Christians are being misled by the chaos of Liberalism.

I don't "boast" or have "pride" in anything that is of the flesh. I am blessed in many ways, and my boast is in Jesus and His salvation.

No one, regardless of race, color, national origin, should be condemned for these external, and often, unsought characteristics. As it has been pointed out, the problems in the human race is sin, not skin (or any other temporal issue).

Pride is sin because it is inordinate self esteem. We need to guard against pride in at least five areas: Race; Face; Place; Lace; Grace.

My real boast is in the grace of God that makes me a child of God, a citizen of the Kingdom of God, a partaker of Divine nature. This is not of my own doing, but by the salvific work of Christ.

The Good News is, whosoever will may enter into the joy, love, forgiveness, cleansing, power, peace of God, by believing on Christ's death and resurrection, repenting of sin and following the leading of the Holy Spirit of God.
