Samuel Logan Brengle: "Waiting on God empties us that we may be filled. Few wait until they are emptied, and hence few are filled. It is far easier to plunge madly at this thing and that, and do, do, do, till life and heart are exhausted in joyless and comparatively fruitless toil, than it is to wait on God in patient faith until He comes and fills you with the power of the Holy Spirit."
