11/01/19 UNIVERSAL ATONEMENT, NOT UNIVERSAL SALVATION

*Sinful nature disqualifies from heaven.
*Atonement saves all children.
*Sin separates from God.
*All have lost salvation once.
1 Timothy 4:10
10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
 
This verse says that Jesus is the Savior of ALL MEN (all people). The blood atonement of Christ covers all children of Adam, which is the entire human race, other than Jesus, since Jesus never had sinful nature and He never sinned.

This verse also says that Jesus is "specially" (especially) the Savior of those who believe. In other words, His atonement covers the inherited corruption of every conceived child of Adam, and then covers those who call on the Name of the Lord, by faith, to save them from their personal sinfulness.

Therefore, God's word says that Jesus did make sacrificial atonement for everyone, saving everyone from Adam's corruption, but His atonement also is obtainable for everyone who willfully sins against God, and then believes (trusts) Jesus for personal salvation.
