09/09/19 IT IS PERFECTION OF HEART
God requires and enables a perfect heart, He does not require a perfect past or a perfect performance.
But a perfect heart gives a total commitment.
Let me say...
*No one has a perfect past, but God forgives our past sins, if we trust Christ's death and resurrection and if we confess and repent (turn from) our sins.
God also enables us to overcome the continuing consequences of our past failures.
God enables us to live a new life in the power of His Holy Spirit rather than under the domain of Satan, sin and self.
*Even Christians do not perform all of our actions perfectly.
We all have weaknesses (not to be confused with sins), inabilities, obstacles, which are not always our own fault.
Success for a Christian is more related to the life of faith than the bottom line of results.
We can't control anyone else or any outside circumstances, but we can control our faith in, and our faithfulness to Christ.
*The perfect heart is the heart that is totally surrendered to Christ.
The perfect heart is the heart that is purified and filled with the Holy Spirit of God.
The perfect heart is the heart that is following Christ fully.
The perfect heart is the heart that is filled with perfect love.
