09/05/19 SEEK AND SHARE THE GOSPEL

09/05/19 SEEK AND SHARE THE GOSPEL

You can get into trouble if you don't ask the right questions and if the person who knows does not inform you.

In preparing for the hurricane, I had various errands to run. I needed some medications from my pharmacy, so I dropped the prescription off and asked when it would be ready. They said, in an hour. Great. I had some things to do, so I could stop by later and pick them up. WRONG.

I knew that businesses would be closing earlier than usual because of the coming storm, but I did not ask when they would close.

I ran my errands, and back to the drug store in early afternoon. THEY WERE CLOSED, and apparently would not open again until Saturday. Aw Naw.

I should have asked what time they would close. BUT, the person who served me should have told me what time they would close. We were both at fault.

This is a picture of those who know the truth of God and those who need the truth of God.
The sinner needs to ask the right question.
"What must I do to be saved?"

The Christian who knows the answer should offer the information. Sometimes people don't make the right decisions because they don't know the facts or the urgency.
"...some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame."

If you are unsaved, you need to make certain of God's plan of salvation. You need to understand the urgency and necessity of seeking God with your whole self.
If you are a believer, you need to offer the message of salvation in an urgent and clear fashion.
"Now is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation."
