08/04/19 SINGING AND MAKING MELODY IN THE HEART
 
Soul singing is deeper than just vocalizing.
But really deep music rises up from our spirit.

Ephesians 5:18-21
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Humans are a trichotomy (body, soul and spirit).

Body is OTHER CONSCIOUSNESS (Awareness)
Soul is SELF CONSCIOUSNESS (Awareness)
Spirit is GOD CONSCIOUSNESS (Awareness)

Body is manifested through 5 senses:
Seeing, Hearing, Smelling, Tasting, Feeling.

Soul is manifested through 5 areas:
Reason, Desire, Emotion, Conscience, Will.

Spirit is manifested through:
Hope, Faith, Love, Surrender, Obedience.

Vocalizing is a bodily expression.
Emotional singing is a soulish expression.
True communication with God and praise to God flows from hope, faith love, surrender, obedience as spiritual expression.

True worship, in Testimony, Music, Proclamation, Prayer, Praise rises up from the depths of the spirit, in worship to God We need more spiritual worship.
