PUTTING IT IN PERSPECTIVE

0.1 or a second is a second divided into 10 equal parts; or 0.01 is a second divided into 100 equal parts; or 0.001 is a second divided into 1000 equal parts; or 0.00001 is a second divided into 10 thousand equal parts; or 0.000001 is a second divided into one hundred thousand equal parts. God spoke the universe into existence in 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 of a second. In that super small atom existed all that would be part of the universe, including space, time, matter, and whatever else needed to make up the universe.

Within that first second God sent the various parts into space (which He also created) and in that first second, the universe expanded to 100,000 light years in length. That is the distance that light travels in 100,000 years.

Light travels at 186,000 miles per second, or 670 million miles per hour, or over 16 billion miles in a day or 5.75 trillion miles in a year. Therefore multiply 5.75 trillion by 100,000 years and that is how far God sent the universe in one second. I realize the universe is bigger than that now, and is expanding even faster now than it has in the past.

If you don't believe these figures are accurate (and who am I to argue?), based on your belief that God is greater than man's view of the Bib Bang Theory, fine. I think the Big Bang Theory is a good starting place to envision the creative power of God.

God is bigger than any model man can come up with.
