06/01/19 FREE FROM SIN, WOW

Ro. 6:22 But now being made free from sin, & become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, & the end everlasting life.

WOW, AND WOW AGAIN.

WOW, this verse is full of great truths that are falsely refuted by those who believe in sinning religion.

WE ARE BEING MADE FREE FROM SIN. Actually, being as free from sin in salvation as we were free from righteousness before we were saved.
Romans 6:20 & 22
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

WE BECOME SERVANTS TO GOD
WOW, when we are walking in faith, in the light, in the Spirit, sin has no authority over us, no power over us, no claim on us, no place in us.
WOW, being free in Christ means that we are not in bondage to sin, Satan, self. We are not in bondage to the law, the world the flesh, the devil.
We have become willing slaves, servants (as well as sons) of God.

WE ARE PRODUCING HOLINESS IN OUR LIVES
WOW, The Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance) replaces the works of the flesh (adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings).
WOW, we are producing holiness in our walk, in our talk, in our thoughts. We care created in righteousness and true holiness. We are holy, even as He is holy. Holiness is our new nature, is our new way of life, is our new attitude, is our new way of thinking.

Being free from sin leads to freedom from sin and leads to faithful following of Christ.
Being free from sin and following Christ produces holiness, and...

HOLINESS RESULTS IN EVERLASTING LIFE.
WOW, just as a heart and life of sin results in death and eternal separation from God, SO TOO, Holiness results in everlasting life.
WOW, Jesus came to make us holy, the blood of Christ, the Holy Spirit and the word of God makes us holy. Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. Jesus is coming back for His bride, which will be holy.
