Ya reckon Pharaoh ever resented the persistent resistance of Moses?
There are worse things than having sanctified stubbornness.
SEE Exodus 1-14
Moses would not yield to the Pharaoh or his threats. Moses stayed in the face of Pharaoh. This was not only obedience by Moses, it brought deliverance to Children of Israel, and could have been redemptive to Pharaoh.
