03/03/19 WHAT TO DO WITH TRUTH
 
Whether it is by a Christian or Atheist, denying Bible truth is wrong.
Christians often deny truth unintentionally.
STILL WRONG.

People (including Christian people) throughout history have been deprived of certain Biblical truths. Some of those truths were essential to salvation, therefore, denial of those truths kept the people from salvation. Other truths were not essential to salvation, and therefore there have been Christians who denied those truths.

God does not hold anyone accountable for light, truth that they do not know. Still, all have sinned against what light they did have and therefore the wages of their sin is death.

However, Christians are responsible to search out and follow truth. He that knows to do good and does not do it, to that person it is sin. God gives light, truth to Christians and God expects Christians to walk in the light, truth He gives them. To refuse light, truth is to choose darkness. The person who willfully walks in darkness is lost.

If people had refused light, truth because it conflicted with their Christian training, then no one would have come out of Romanism, or Calvinism, or Legalism. When we learn truth, we should abandon whatever is untrue, regardless of where we learned it or how dear it has become to us.

Receiving new light, truth is not always comfortable or easy to follow. It is not always popular, and sometimes it is considered by the majority, to be a lie.

We must believe, trust, follow, obey Biblical truth, no matter the consequences.
