04/15/19 JUST AN OBSERVATION ON MY PHILOSOPHY OF COMMUNICATION

04/15/19 JUST AN OBSERVATION ON MY PHILOSOPHY OF COMMUNICATION

My verbal communication varies according to my mood (not moodiness), my setting, my subject, but my message does not change.

I posted this because my verbal presentation can differ so much that folks might mistake the variation as representing affectation or insincerity. I am, and always have been, pretty much just myself.

Sometimes I am so deliberate in my speech that it might appear I am uncertain or simply reciting from a memorized text. Sometimes I am so "laid back" that it may appear I am simply being frivolous. Sometimes I am more concerned about social norms in speech and articulation because I know that my relaxed, colloquial and unfiltered self might not be understood or accepted.

I don't try to be what I am not. I simply try to be the best me I can be in any given situation. It is not a matter of pretending, in either direction. It is a matter of trying to present the truth of God in the most effective way. I always try to make my message clear to all hearers in a given audience. I am not interested in impressing anyone with DLG, but rather JESUS.
