The hate speech and libel leveled at Southerners by other Americans has fueled worldwide disdain for the Holy Bible. YEP.
Satan's plan was to discredit Bible believers, even though they were not guilty of the racism, ignorance, backwardness, provincialism, with which they were accused.
I have met people from other countries who look down on Southerners because of the lies and hatred brought against them by other Americans (sometimes even misinformed and misled Christians). I have had those same people from other countries then mock the Scriptures, as the fodder for foolishness.
I have also seen the same disdainful association made between the Holy Bible and Southerners in the media (TV, movies, "educational" programs, news outlets as well as presented by "great intellectual giants" who also were Bible haters and Liberals.
Now I see and hear that Muslim apologists associate belief in the Bible with supposed backward Bible Belt and Southern, redneck culture, racist culture. Of course, being able to associate the Bible with such imagery stokes the bias and hatred among Muslims.
People all over the world have followed the false narrative concerning the followers of Christ being unthinking, dishonest and uneducated. While there are people like this in the South, the fact is that they are everywhere. I have met people from various places and that has been my observation. However, the North is not socially or culturally associated with strong Bible belief. This is valid, considering the strong influence of anti-Bible religious training that has been a major part of Northern development. And yes, there are strong and great followers of Christ in the North and West.

Praise the Lord. Few twitters today. Asked family. Suggested maybe reaction to allergy meds. Sounds right. Thanks y'all. PTL.
I never had this before It was like a phantom phone vibration in my chest. So strange for me. Decided to mention it while family was at house tonight. Martha and I have rarely had problems with any meds, but I thought maybe someone had heard something.
Found out that some of my children either experienced or knew about such a thing. They asked me if I use a certain allergy med. I knew immediately that their insight made sense. I have used that med occasionally, but recently I have used it daily.
Praise the Lord. Won't be using that med anytime soon.

My view of the 2nd Amendment.
I'm not mocking it.
But I'd be walking it,
If I was talking it.
I believe God gave the sword of steel (carnal weapons) to the State to protect the righteous and punish the wicked (because that is what the Bible says).
But God gave the Sword of the Spirit to defeat the enemy of Christ and His people, which is sin, Satan and any wicked system devised by the State.
My point is that Americans have not stopped the oppressive hand of Sin, Satan and the State when it comes to attacking our faith, our families or our freedoms.
People cry aloud for the right to bear arms, then they sell out the Christ, their children and the Constitution for fear or for greed.
This is why I say,
"If you ain't gonna walk it,
Then you ought not to talk it."
Let's face it, nobody has enough guns or a gun big enough to stop the State's oppression and destruction of our society. Those who try will end up in prison or the cemetery, and the renegade State will roll on. Read the book.
While it is true that there will be very few who take a Biblical stand, at least they will be on the right side and they will be teaching the next generation about the God of the Bible.

YOU REALLY SHOULD read the whole article in order to get my real point.
I AM OLD (72 in 3 days). I am not as old as I am hoping to be, or as old a I may get to be, or as old as many other old people, BUT I AM OLD.
I have pains, and soreness, and weakness, and stiffness, and shortness of breath, and fatigue, and other stuff and then I have more of it.
I haven't always been old. It started when I was young and it has continued up until recently.
I haven't always had pain, soreness, weakness, stiffness, shortness of breath, fatigue and other stuff, but I have those things now, and then I have more of it.
I never felt old until I was bitten by a West Nile Virus carrying mosquito, and then my life changed considerably. I initially suffered major problems, and ALMOST DIED. In fact, doctors told me I was probably going to die because of my WNV. I didn't die, at least not up to the writing of this article.
I did not die. In fact, I have bouts of good health, occasionally. I have been very active, on purpose. My health goes down hill super fast if I do not force myself to be active. There have been times I could not be active and my strength, energy, life slips away more than folks realize. On those occasions I have looked for the first opportunity to get active again. And amazingly I have been able to rebound and regain much of what I had lost in my down time.
I have always been an active person. I have lifted weights, body building, played football, basketball, softball, volleyball, pickle-ball, racquetball, surfed, swam, walked, hiked, jogged, free hand exercise, fished, kayaked, played yard games like jarts, horseshoes, tag, dodge-ball, bocci-ball, coin toss, beanbag toss.
I have done fairly well in some activities. When I was a young teenager I could one arm snatch my own body weight (125#). When I was in my late 30s, weighing only 175#, I bench pressed 255# without a lifting shirt or any other cheats (which was 145% of my body weight). In the past I had quick reflexes and was a fairly fast runner (short distances). My endurance levels were always very high and I almost never slept, but did not suffer fatigue. Though I might get argument, I had a very active and efficient mind. No genius, but at least very active.
I wrote all of this stuff because I wanted to make a point. Stay with me just a little longer.
I AM OLD. I never felt old until I got WNV. When I am active and enjoying decent health, I don't feel old, but when the residual effects of my WNV kick in, I FEEL OLD. In fact, I feel very close to death sometimes.
Finally here it is. I cannot imagine how terrible my condition would be if I had not been active all those years. I probably would not have made it this far if I had not forced myself to be active, even when it was painful, even when I was tired, even when I was strapped for time. If I would have lived this long, I cannot imagine how deplorable my health and condition would be, without having been active. I still force myself to be active, to work out, to kayak. I still put in long hours of work at the computer. But I would not be able to do this if I had not paid the price in my youthful years, my middle age and even into my old age.
I don't like being helpless, ever, but I have been on occasions. I don't like being slowed down, but I am. I don't want to be a burden to anyone. But if I had chosen to not be active, had chosen not to force myself, I would either be dead or in need of someone having to take care of me. Yes, that may still happen. Yes, I know there are people who are in need of constant care, even though they lived their lives responsibly. We can't always choose how things will turn out. But while we can we better do all that we can. Otherwise we will have no real quality of life. Otherwise we will be an unnecessary burden on others, on our loved ones. We will be a financial burden, a time burden, a social burden. Old age is part of life and so are the set backs that go with old age. BUT PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE because we don't have the gumption to take care of ourselves is a selfish decision. I have more to say, but if this doesn't help, then there is no reason to keep talking.

Biblical Christianity is a disappearing life in our "modern," Post Christian," Laodicean society. Churches are being tossed to and from with every wind of doctrine. Those who seek to be Biblical will find themselves in the cross hairs of pagans and "Christians" alike. Being Biblical is as foreign to modern believers as being a recently discovered South Pacific Aborigine sent to MIT.
Islamic history is being taught and publicized today, by some of the greatest linguists and historians in the world. However, because of the push to purge truth from modern society, along with the extreme headiness of such academic disciplines will leave a void of information, which will be important for future apologetic and evangelistic efforts.
Local churches must take up the challenge to equip our people for today's needs and tomorrows battles. There are great resources on youtube concerning the Islamic studies. We need to get these before youtube and others remove them from our reach.

The nonphysical and physical parts separate at death, going either to God or to hell. Disembodied spirits are not ghosts.
When humans die, their spirit goes to either be with Christ or to hell (awaiting the Judgement Day of Christ).
Human, disembodied spirits, at death, do not linger or "haunt" this present world. Biblically there is no such thing as ghost (disembodied human spirits).
The New Testament clearly says that a deceased Christian's spirit goes to be with God. The spirits of the saved will be with Christ when He returns.

1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
