Beware: Sometimes culture and sin are so tightly entangled that one becomes confused and identified as the other.

GUARD YOURSELF
This error can lead a person to accept and excuse the sins of his culture, and it can cause other people to condemn a whole culture for the sins of some.

Culture is not bad or sinful, unless and until it usurps the place, authority, values, dignity of God and His word. The unwise are willing to let their view of culture replace God, His word, His grace. This brings unnecessary division in the family of God. Stubbornness, judgmentalism and pride preclude love, kindness, humility and tenderness.
