01/05/19 WHEN BACK IS BETTER THAN FORWARD

THIS IS NEXT. Moving BACK or backward with God is better than moving forward without Him.

There is a difference between moving BACK and moving BACKWARD.
Everyone should move BACK to God, and sometimes God takes us BACK to something. But the word BACKWARD has a negative connotation. It does not seem right to say that God takes us BACKWARD. Regardless of the negative connotation, BACKWARD is sometimes the direction of advancement.

But let me address the main idea; Moving BACK (or BACKWARD) with God is better than moving forward without God. Since God is all knowing, He knows where we need to be and what we should be doing. Our limited understanding can lead us astray. We may not understand the leading of God. Other people may criticize the direction we are going or they may assert that we are deluded in our "following" God.

Still, if the direction we are going is consistent with the word of God and the nature of God, it does not matter that we don't understand or that no one else understands.

Moving forward, either personally or ministerially, may seen to be the thing to do, but moving or standing with God is more important than the outward appearance of growth, success, fulfillment. Sometimes the will of God is contrary to the "obvious."

After all is said and done, I want to be where God actually is, even if that means moving in a direction that leaves everyone else scratching their heads.
