12/16/19 PURSUE PEACE, AVOID CONFLICT
 
You don't have to look for conflict; it is all around us. What we must pursue is peace with all men (He. 12:14).

Hebrews 12:14
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Psalms 34:11-17
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalms 38:20
20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.

Proverbs 16:7
7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

James 3:13-18
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

GOD'S PEACEMAKERS

Be a Peace Emissary with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, business encounters, merchants, shoppers, food service people, government servants, man (or woman) on the street, phone contacts, EVERYONE.

It takes grace to be kind, conciliatory, accepting, forgiving, understanding, quiet.
